Buyerline adds one customer timeline to WooCommerce: orders, refunds, abandoned carts, email clicks and support notes, with a Repeat Buyers list. It is local-only and zero-config. Buyerline Pro adds churn risk, a VIP segment, exports, unlimited history and integrations.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.4 or newer, PHP 8.0 or newer, WooCommerce 8.0 or newer.
- Works with High-Performance Order Storage and the Cart and Checkout blocks.
Install
- Make sure WooCommerce is active.
- Download the free plugin from the Buyerline product page, then Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, install and activate.
- Open WooCommerce → Customers Timeline. Accept the one-time offer to import the last 12 months of orders. It runs in the background through Action Scheduler and can be paused and resumed from Settings → Import.
Quick start
- Lists: All, Repeat Buyers, Recent Abandoned Carts and Open Support. Search by name, email or order number; filter by segment, date and minimum spend.
- A customer’s timeline: click any name. Orders, refunds, meaningful status changes, customer-facing order notes, abandoned and recovered carts, email clicks and your support notes, newest first and grouped by day.
- Abandoned carts are captured on the classic and block checkout as soon as a shopper enters a valid email, and marked abandoned after the idle time in Settings (60 minutes by default). Placing an order marks the cart recovered. A consent mode limits capture to shoppers who ticked a checkbox.
- Email clicks: in Settings → Email clicks, copy the link snippet for your provider (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, FluentCRM, MailPoet, Omnisend, or generic). Links carry
utm_medium=email&bl_e=<email merge tag>; the identifier is stripped from the URL on arrival. - Support notes: add a note from the timeline or the order screen, mark it resolved when done. Open notes are counted on the customer and shown in the Open Support list.
- On every order: the metabox shows the customer’s stats and their last five events; the user profile links to the timeline.
Buyerline Pro: activation and updates
- Buy on the Buyerline product page; the Lemon Squeezy receipt has your key and
buyerline-pro.zip. - Upload and activate the Pro plugin. The free plugin and WooCommerce must stay active.
- Open WooCommerce → Customers Timeline → Settings → Pro and activate the license key.
- Updates arrive in Dashboard → Updates after a license check against hexcorp.io.
Pro adds the churn risk score (0–100) with an At Risk list and a one-line reason per score, the VIP segment (top N% of buyers or a spend threshold), CSV export of any list or timeline, unlimited history beyond 12 months, the weekly digest email, and integrations: FluentCRM, MailPoet and Mailchimp for WooCommerce clicks, a Klaviyo webhook, Fluent Support, Help Scout and Gorgias tickets, and abandoned-cart import from Cart Abandonment Recovery. Each integration stays inert until its plugin is active or a webhook secret is set.
Privacy and performance
Buyerline stores the shopper’s email, product lines, totals, currency and billing country for carts, and never payment data, addresses, IP addresses or user agents. It makes no outbound requests and has no telemetry. It plugs into WordPress’s personal data export and erasure tools, offers a retention period, and a delete-everything-on-uninstall toggle (off by default). On frontend pages it runs zero database queries other than the checkout capture and email landing hits.
